Brother or Sister?

And now for the big news...

Meghan is going to be a big sister!!!

We're due with #2 (or as Fred calls it, "The Sequel") on October 9th! We're very excited for the big event!

Meghan is excited too. She likes to pull up Mommy's shirt and pat her belly, while saying "Baby" (which sounds more like "BAA-BEE"). Sometimes she waves "Hi" at the baby, and sometimes she kisses it hello. She's going to be a GREAT big sister!

We had an ultrasound on Friday afternoon. Everything looks great! Here are a few pictures for you to get a little gimpse of our new baby! You'll get some full color shots in October. Enjoy!

Our Little Monkey

Meghan is truly our little Monkey! She is climing EVERYWHERE now!

Here she is standing on top of the trim in the living room to get a glimpse out the window (since this picture was taken, Daddy bought her a stool to stand up higher).
One evening while Daddy was gone, Mommy went into the kitchen to find out why Meghan was so quiet. You know the old adage, "A quiet toddler is a toddler in trouble...", well, it was true! Meghan was standing on one of the kitchen chairs with one knee up on the table, poised to get into her Easter basket that Grandma had sent!

Happy St Patrick's Day
